Donna Goestenkors, CPMSM,  Medical Staff Leadership and Professional Services consultant with over 30 years of credentialing, privileging and accreditation experience working with hospitals, Medical Staff Offices (MSO), healthcare systems, Credentials Committees, health plans, medical groups, Bylaws Committees, and credentials verification organizations nationwide.  Donna is a past president of the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).

Most recently, she was as a full time consultant with The Greeley Company in the Credentialing and Privileging Practice and has recently been appointed as co-chair of the Credentialing and Privileging Advisory Board for the Global Health Care Policy Council.  In addition to her consultant client work, Donna serves as a health care industry speaker and author.

She has authored and contributed to numerous articles and books on medical staff organizational and professional management, in addition to “Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) Toolkit,” “101 Smart Things Every Medical Staff Services Professional Should Do,” “Staff, Recruit, Groom and Train,” “Medical Staff Services Professionals Take Charge,” and “Hospital/System Mergers-How to Build a Consolidated Medical Staff Services Department.” She has also presented on many audio-conferences and webinars sponsored by NAMSS, HcPro, The Greeley Company and numerous other industry-related programs.  In addition to serving as an expert witness, she speaks on industry topics relative to accrediting body standards, federal and state regulations, Bylaws, meeting management, staffing, MSO administration, leadership skills, credentialing, privileging and professional development.  

Donna holds an AS in Medical Services, is a professional Certified in Medical Staff Services Management (CPMSM) by NAMSS. She also is currently pursuing CPHQ certification through the National Association of Healthcare Quality. She is a charter member of the Council on the Global Integration of Healthcare and serves on its Advisory Board.
