Jon Shreve, FSA, MAAA, is a principal and consulting actuary with the Denver Office of the Milliman. In that regard, he helps insurers and HMOs strategize and execute multibillion-dollar deals.

Mr. Shreve's experience in determining the valuations of blocks of business in heath care terms is essential in evaluating actuarially risk and risk assumption by healthcare providers in capitated reimbursement offers. His experience includes pricing, product development, filing and large group offerings. Apply this background with an emphasis on the Latin American international healthcare market and Mr. Shreve is a natural fit for the Mercury Healthcare Advisory Group. As the managing principal of his company's practices in Latin America, Mr. Shreve also has an advantage with South American clients looking for inclusion in the US market. This international experience familiarized him with the cultural gaps that exist between countries and the various solutions to bridging those gaps.

John is a charter member of the Council on the Global Integration of Healthcare and serves on the Advisory Board. He resides with his wife near Denver, Colorado.
